In 1965, Ed began his career as a partner at Gregory & Appel Life Agency. Fifteen years later, Ed incorporated the company to become Miller & Associates, Inc. In 1997, Benefits Associates was formed with Bryan Brenner and just thirteen years later, in 2010, Benefits Associates merged with Benefits Consultants to become FirstPerson.
Today, Ed helps FirstPerson clients keep their competitive edge by rewarding and retaining top performers. His thorough knowledge of executive benefits gives clients the platform to successfully plan for the future.
When not serving clients, Ed can be found fly-fishing, reading military history, and spending time with his wife, Beverly, and their eight children, 19 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Ed has received a high level of insurance expertise as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and the most extensive educational program for financial services as a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
