First Person named Best Place to Work in Indiana for 11th Year

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

March 2, 2022

For the 11th year, the employees of First Person Advisors, a subsidiary of NFP, have placed their firm among the Best Places to Work in Indiana. It was named to the Best Places to Work Hall of Fame in 2020.

A statewide survey and awards program from the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group, Best Places to Work in Indiana identifies and honors 125 participating Hoosier employers with leading workplace cultures.

“Once again, our employees brought all they had and embodied our innovative spirit,” said First Person President and Chief Strategy Officer Mark Minner. “Building on our strategic partnership with NFP and a portfolio of growth minded clients – our people have an inspiring dedication to each other and our partners.”

Organizations from across the state entered the Best Places to Work in Indiana competition, a two-part process that puts the greatest emphasis on responses to employee-experience surveys. While the awards program’s review process includes an assessment of workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics, approximately 75% of the total evaluation is drawn from employee feedback. Best Companies Group manages the overall registration and survey process, analyzes the data, and determines the final rankings, which will be announced at an awards ceremony on May 12.

NFP last fall was named to Business Insurance’s annual list of Best Places to Work in Insurance for the fifth consecutive year.

“To be recognized as a great place to work during the year of First Person’s 25th anniversary and our first full year as a subsidiary of NFP is gratifying,” said First Person CEO and Founder Bryan Brenner.

“Since the firm’s founding, we’ve strived to be an employer of choice. Our roots as an Indiana-based firm with the backing of the world’s fifth-largest broker combine to offer superior services and a desirable workplace,” added Brenner.
