Hank brings seasoned and results-oriented business experience to his role as Managing Partner of Performance Lab at FirstPerson. His specialty is leading organizations, especially building “good to great” companies that are highly performing and achieve exponential growth by means of a dynamic strategic plan.
His deeply competitive nature shows up not only in the business arena, but on the playing field. An active 14,000 mountain climber, he has 29 summits to his credit. Competition basketball and softball have been part of his routine until ages 51 and 65, respectively. Currently he concentrates on tennis, golf, hiking, and other fitness activities.
A graduate of Indiana University as a Foundation Scholar, Hank worked 33 years with Whirlpool Corporation where he led business units, including its Shanghai, China global presence. He then led Nebraska-bred Lincoln Industries, growing revenue 5x in 13.5 years. His interest in high performance motivated him to create with two other executives a company called Performance pH, designed to research, assess, and deliver high performance strategies to clients. Hank joined FirstPerson in 2016.
Hank met his wife in seventh grade; they remained classmates and were married during their years at IU. He describes his family as the finest people he knows. In his spare time, Hank loves watching college sports, particularly basketball and football; rooting on grandkids at sporting events; and spending time with friends from all over the world.
