Kim Hamm

Benefit Support Specialist

Kim is a dedicated Benefit Support Specialist who helps answer questions that benefit plan participants may have. Her experience and benefits knowledge puts employees at ease when dealing with difficult insurance issues. Kim started out as the Employee and Retiree Advocate for the Schurz Choice call center hosted by FirstPerson.

Kim’s role began as being a resource for the Schurz Choice line, but has expanded to serve as the dedicated resource for the FirstPerson Care Line. This valuable service provides employees the ability to call or email with their benefit issues and speak with the same person each time. Kim’s resourcefulness and love for helping others makes her the perfect representative for the Care Line.

Before joining the FirstPerson team, Kim worked for Hoosier Times, Inc. as the Benefits Coordinator and for the Herald-Times as the HR Assistant. Kim brings more than 22 years of human resources and benefits experience.

Kim’s family is most important to her, and she spends much of her free time attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and other activities. She also enjoys gardening in the spring and summer months.
