With more than 15 years of experience, Matt has witnessed the evolution of HR from a purely administrative department to one that is strategically engaged in creating a happy, innovative, and engaged workplace. He believes happy employees create happy customers, and happy customers create business growth.

As Chief People Officer, Matt’s focus is on defining and implementing strategic business initiatives, employee experience, talent and development, and creating scalable processes. He also ensures his team delivers on day-to-day HR, Finance, and IT processes and initiatives. His specialty is incorporating people strategies that include leadership, executive coaching, employee relations, recruiting, total rewards, and culture engagement that drive business results.

Matt received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Purdue University and an MBA from Western Governor’s University. He also has his PHR and SHRM-CP certifications.

Outside of the office, you’ll find Matt and his husband running Spartan races, enjoying the outdoors, being foodies and winos, traveling, and spoiling their dog, Jasper.
